Thorns and Horns

“Alongside the Castles & Crowns these are pieces are part of a series I did some years ago called the Royal Court. It’s a somewhat medieval inspired world of creatures, towers, and castles- vessels of the forest within. In a strange and threatening world, we make our vain attempts at armor against the unknown. At times we can see the humor and futility of this beautiful folly. In these pieces I hope to acknowledge the strength and nobility of our sentient vulnerability.”
